“It is the task of the translator to release in his own language that pure language that is under the spell of another, to liberate the language imprisoned in a work in his re-creation of that work.”

Walter Benjamin

“So many people consider their work a daily punishment. Whereas I love my work as a translator. Translation is a journey over a sea from one shore to the other. Sometimes I think of myself as a smuggler: I cross the frontier of language with my booty of words, ideas, images, and metaphors.”

Many people all over the world are brainwashed and the reason is… Russia. Russia here, Russia there. But to be honest, the key problem lies somewhere in the personal fear sphere. When you often use the expression: “If Russia…” It is really a bad sign. You should stop.

The reality is different. The Russians are still the same. They like friends, they try to make friends and be friends themselves.

And the “missile language” is not the language the Russians use. The nation doesn’t have threats, it has only the responses.

And this, our life, exempt from public haunt,
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything.

And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
